Since I have some time to write, I'll write about my birthday! XD I think this has been the best birthday out of all my years alive. I never really had any friends to celebrate with, and this year I had many people to celebrate it with. I feel like life is getting better, and my life is more stable than it was a few years ago.
So, Friday night, there was a huge party downstairs. There were so many people that I didn't really know half the people. However, I did get to celebrate it with my good roommate, and we all had fun that night.
On Saturday, my good friend from Japanese took me to Japantown in San Francisco. There was a small hiccup with her alarm on her car not working, but that was because the battery was dead on her remote control. Aside from that, everything was so much fun. We went around the stores again. We took pika pika pictures again for like the 5 millionth time, but we just love taking pictures together! Then, another friend that lives in SF also came, and we all went to karaoke. The karaoke isn't very good in SF, but it was still fun. I sang a lot of songs! I really want to learn more. I think what I'm going to do is write out the tune for all the songs and bring that with me so that I know the song title and have the tune with me. I can never remember some parts, and always end up ad-libbing! Anyway, I should really learn to ad-lib because it's good practice not to be so picky on the exact pitch... (Damn perfect pitch >.<;) Afterwards, we went back to the hotel and went down to the bar. My first drink was on the house, and then I bought another one. He made the drink really nice... really smooth. I was slightly tipsy, and was really happy. The bartender was really nice. We talked about current events in the world that I didn't really know about... I think I need to read a good newspaper to see what current events are happening in Asia! I barely know what goes on in America though, but that's because the economy is bad and all the newspaper talks about is how X company is going bankrupt and the gov needs to step in and help restructure and blah blah blah... Need some more interesting news...
Anyway, I had a really great birthday! Now to have some more cookies that roomie made for me... XD
I can't believe I spaced out this year @_@! It's extremely late, but Happy Belated Bday anyway T_T; I'm glad that you had fun and everything.
ReplyDeleteJapantown's awesome, though I'm too afraid of the hills to drive there anytime soon @_@. I'm also afraid of the possibly-pending running-a-red-light ticket that may or may not ever arrive on my doorstep.
Anyway, it's good that you had a great birthday. You deserve more good days in your life, especially the special ones ^_^
