Shirokane

I now understand why Shirokane is one of the most sought after places to live. HERE

1. There isn't a pachinko in sight.
2. Easy access to the station.
3. Little shops around and near Meguro

I found a place in Shirokane-dai... I found a really nice place in this area. It's 2 min from station. It has a roof balcony, huge room, lots of closet space, nice kitchen, and nice bathroom. On paper, the price is within 150 thousand yen, but I calculated it out on paper to USD, and I'm approximately 400USD over the lowest budget max budgetmy mom said. Though, I'm only over 100USD for the max budget... lol. I really don't think momsies or popsies will let me stay there, but I decided to hold it just in case. It's in a really nice area, and I'm just going to try to push my luck. (I really hate the value of the dollar at the moment. I wish it would just rise... but it still won't really help because I think I'm over budget no matter how it's looked at.)

Anyway, the other place in Mita isn't bad at all, though it is in a small street, so the area feels a little more cramped walking around before hitting the station. HERE I think that's how it is with all the JR stations. The nicer housing is in more cramped streets. I think the one in Mita will probably get chosen over the one in Shirokane just because of price. However, the more I think about it, the more I want to live in the Shirokane one... *sigh* I'll just keep dreaming then. I calculated out the budget for the one in Mita, and it came out to be around 1300 USD. It's in price range, so probably this one will get chosen, though, I kind of hope maybe by some miracle my parents will let me stay in the other one. I'll just sit here and dream...
