History...

Well, I feel better after talking to my history professor. I've never been so worried about not passing a class. I got a C on the midterm. At least it wasn't a C-. Didn't do so great on the paper I got back last week, so I'm going to rewrite it, which is due Thurs. Glad that I can rewrite it. I can't wait to start writing my research paper because I'm much better at research papers than argument papers. So, I hopefully will be doing much better in this class.

On another note, did terrible on my Japanese essay because I really didn't have a bad experience I wanted to talk about... lol. This week might be hell, but it'll iron itself out. Lots to do, but it'll be all for the better.

Be back another day to write! (Feels better to write things down... must do it more often)

Stalkers strike again...

Okay, I wouldn't necessarily call him a stalker, but he has been trying to talk to me in the dining hall. I'm always weirded out by people who want to talk to me in the dining hall. Plus, he's been trying to stare at me in history class, which is a little... freakish... I know that people just want to get friendly with me, but not in the dining hall. I really don't think the dining hall is the place to try to get to know me, since I've been having a bad track record of guys trying to hit on me there. I just wish they'd stop!

Anyway... school is going okay. Chinese Revolution is proving to be a really tough class, and plus it isn't really my favorite time period in history. I just hope I somehow survive this class. I hope this research project is what keeps me on the passing side. Tokugawa Japan next quarter shouldn't be as hard as Chinese Revolution. I'm just praying I make it out of this quarter. There's just so much to read and keep straight in my head that it gives me a headache. I think the Qing China course I took is even easier than this course. Oh well. Just have to suck it up and make it through this course!

I have some other thoughts on my mind, but I'll write about them another day. By the way, origami rocks my world! XD

Back at School

Well, first day back at school. Nothing much going on other than roaming around my apartment. Classes don't start until tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to Chinese Revolution. Not looking forward to the tons of reading I have to do for that class though. Japanese will probably be the same as last quarter. Hopefully it will be relatively lax. Well, off to bed~!

New Year

So, it's five days into the new year, and I haven't even written anything here. It's been a long time since I've been here. There is always so much I want to say, but then I never say it. The days go by in blurs. I really don't know what has really happened in the last quarter, but only the feelings of stress and happiness linger in my head. I hope to be back to daily randomness about what goes on in my days and less deep in wild dreaming like about my future and boyfriend and whatnot. I guess those things are just every girl's fantasy of having a nice boyfriend, getting married, living the rest of your life with the one you love... *sigh* I guess I've been thinking about this more and more since my brother got engaged and is getting married in August. I can only dream about a boyfriend because I am graduating and going to get a job, so a relationship at this point won't work at all. I don't want to have any attachments before I go to Japan. Maybe having a relationship wouldn't really prevent me from going to Japan, but it sure would be hard leaving him in the US while I'm there until god knows when. Perhaps forever? Haha...

Anyway, I've had the most wonderful time in Calgary. Got to see my two brothers and my brother's fiancee after a long time. The food was just absolutely AMAZING! Though, I've had enough food to last me about this entire year. Thursday and Friday was just filled with such good food. All of them were traditional Chinese dishes. My favorites were the crispy skinned pork, and the scallops. I had 4 huge scallops on Thursday night, and they were all bought the same day and cooked fresh by the restaurant. Man, the food was just really good that banquet. Everyone was stuffed until noone couldn't eat anymore. Man, I just feel full everyday. I hope this feeling goes away, because it's not a good feeling at all! >.<;;

Well, it's the new year, and everyone tells about goals and stuff. My only goal is getting into either Waseda or Keio language school as well as graduating. I really don't have any other goals. I do hope to meet new people and live my life to its fullest. Live one day at a time. I still struggle with many aspects of my life, but I am trying my hardest to accept them. It's been a long road to this point. What happened in life, happened. I just need to keep on pushing forward. There should be no regrets in my life. Some things will be out of my control in life, but I just have to take them and accept them. Love myself. Smile.

Back to School

Well, I'm pretty much settled in my new apartment. My apartment mates are really friendly, so I'm really happy about that. We're all really quiet, so I don't think there will be a problem in that department this year. I'm glad that the guys downstairs are really nice. Even though they're loud sometimes, they are really quiet when it comes to night time. I think I might have even scared them last night when I said I was going to bed, and I wanted it to be quiet. Hopefully, they'll get to know me better, and not think I'm so bitchy. They actually told me today when I saw them that they turned the base completely off so that it wouldn't be so loud. I really appreciate that they're trying, and not trying to still do whatever they want. I think this year is going to be really good. I think I'm going to enjoy waking up really early. Feels good to wake up at 6am~. Ahh, life somehow feels really good at the moment, though this may all change when I get stressed... Oh well. I'll just enjoy it for the time being. 'Till next time~!

Shinjuku Shopping Spree

I literally spent a huge hunk of money today. I can see how it's so easy for What Not to Wear to spend $5000 in two days... I can't wait to show off my new wardrobe. I absolutely love what I bought. Most of it is for fall and winter. I really was looking for more of these clothes because I get cold, and I really don't have nice clothes that I can wear during the winter. Most of my good clothes are for spring and summer, and now I have a great wardrobe for winter~! Now, I just need new boots and maybe a long jacket, but those cost so much money... I'll have to ask my mom if I can buy those, because those are going to be the most expensive! >.<;;; Time for bed now, since I want to go shopping again tomorrow. Man, shopping here is so good~!

I need to be slapped

I really don't know why I neglect some of the most important things in life. I've developed a bad "I don't care" attitude again, which I really need to snap out of. Perhaps it's because it's nearing the school year that I'm dreading. Maybe I'm trying to run away. Somehow I can't face the reality of going back to school. I feel so scared to go back.
