These two days haven't been too exciting. I went to Akihabara again to check prices, and it seems I'm getting a really good deal on a dictionary I want. Today, I went to Sogo again to just walk around. I had shao mai. So good! Oh! I have one of the best sweet potatoe... so sweet! I forgot to take a picture. I will be sure to next time when I eat it again~. Now, time to go watch Maou. They had Code Blue on last night, which I missed half of it because I didn't know when it was airing. Now I know. My Thursdays and Fridays are scheduled with Japanese doramas!
Code Blue was ok... reminded me of Grey's Anatomy with a bunch of grown-up teenage stars minus the sex ^_^; Of course, Yamapi plays the cool, cold, sharp and excellent trainee.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I've grown up a bit or something... Johnny's Entertainment boys aren't as cute to me anymore so I'm a bit more critical watching drama now. They always seem to play similar types of characters...
I hope Maou is good... though the banner for it was kinda... funny ^_^; I've only seen Ohno Satoshi do roles that remind me a bit of Ashton Kutcher in comedies, so maybe this will be good.
I kind of want to see Yasuko to Kenji (NTV). It's on Saturdays at 21:00. Based on a shoujo manga so it can go either way.
Finished watching Zettai Kareshi. Basically everything before episode 7 was retarded, everything after episode 7 was good. It was hard to sit through the first seven episodes, but the last few episodes were good to watch.
Also watched Antique Bakery anime yesterday XD~ Artwork's a bit iffy. I think if they got the same artists that did Honey & Clover and Nodame, it would have turned out better... but that's just my opinion. It's kind of entertaining actually, pretty true adaptation to the manga so far.
omg... not even understanding Maou too well, it still gave me chills! Ohno Satoshi's face is so scary... >.<
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think Maou is a bit complex if one's Japanese isn't very advanced. It was better than I expected though, which means this drama is pretty promising. I was kind of worried at first 'cause the banner was kind of ... well... dumb looking, but the acting so far has been pretty good. The plot moved at a reasonable speed and it's pretty good.
ReplyDeleteThe end of the episode was pretty good 'cause Ohno's character, Naruse Ryo, used the exact same words Kumada (the lawyer) used when he defended Serizawa Naoto (Ikuta Toma) 11 years ago when he murdered Ryo's younger brother, Hideo. I was like O,O "Oooh~~"
I think it's kind of cool that Ryo uses the name Amano Makoto for sending the red envelopes to people. Though the characters are for different meanings, the sound of the name if put into just hiragana "あまのまこと" could be changed into "天の真" the truth of heaven or Heaven's Truth.
This may be pretty interesting to watch after all~ I think this is more interesting than Code Blue right now though Code Blue got like 21.2% rating =_=; (Must have been the hot cast and medical topic)
The theme song was good, except the singing was still kind of funny lol. Song was good only when they boys were in harmony... I really think that if they can't sing low key.. they really shouldn't try and overdo it ^__^;
